Horse Accord- Enquire Therapy
Candesa and Darryl, and their herd of horses, reside on a rural 5 acre property bordered by the Albert River in Stapylton, just south of Brisbane, Australia. They both hold qualifications in Equine Management and have a working knowledge and skills in groundwork, horse psychology, and an ability to read horse body language and non-verbal communication. This is invaluable knowledge to draw on during EAGALA Equine Assisted sessions and programs to support clients in accessing their own solutions to life challenges.
Grow on Children's Occupational Therapy- Zac Jessup
Zac completed his Bachelor of Applied Science (Occupational Therapy) degree in 2012, at the University of South Australia and initially worked in an adult community mental health setting for a year before moving into paediatrics.
He has worked with children from 2-18 years of age with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ADHD, developmental delays and social/emotional difficulties. Zac brings a calm, engaging and positive manner to his sessions enabling the children to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience.
Karin Adams- Speech Pathologist
Karin has worked as a private speech pathologist in Western Australia since 2000. In 2011, she moved to the Gold Coast with her family and established this private speech pathology clinic.
Karin has specialised in paediatric speech pathology practice, particularly in the areas of early intervention and working with children with special needs. She has had extensive experience in working with school aged children in the areas of language for literacy, spelling and reading development. She has a passion for functional communication and the use of technology to assist communication and learning development. She also has extensive experience in using the iPad and apps in therapy and communication development.
VAL PRIEKULLS- YOUTHRIVE INTERGRATED THERAPY SERVICES (PSYCHOLOGY)
Val is a registered psychologist with a special interest in clinical and developmental psychology. Val offers a broad range of assessments and treatments for children, adolescents, parents and families. She has many years of experience working with a variety of disorders and challenges.
